Third work party! This week, we'll really start to see our Better Block take shape. We'll be building and designing and decorating furiously - furniture, a beer garden and parklet, games and activities, pop-up shops and more. We'll need lots of people to help build, move supplies and materials, paint our new street elements, pickup and deliver materials and more.
All welcome - we need many hands! Wear old clothes and sturdy shoes. Bring work gloves and water bottles. Simple tools would also be helpful - scrub brushes and buckets, weeding tools and loppers, large push brooms, etc. A couple of pickup trucks would also come in handy!
